A car parts store with selection by vehicle
In spare parts, the first question is: will this fit my car? The store had to take buyers straight to the parts that fit their own vehicle.
Choose my car sits in the header and on the home page so parts are filtered by vehicle; categories by system — engine, brakes and safety, lights, electrical, body, steering and suspension — supported car brands, and articles on buying and maintenance were built.
Automotive red and black, car brand cards and parts shot on dark backgrounds.
The things this product does now that it could not do before.
Pick a vehicle and see only compatible parts.
Engine, brakes and safety, lights, electrical, body and suspension.
The supported vehicle brands in one row.
Articles such as when to change brake pads or which battery to buy.
The route the work actually took, with the time each stage needed.
Reviewing the business, its audience and competitors, and laying out the page map before any design.
Home, vehicle selector and part page.
Built on Laravel: catalogue, cart and checkout, accounts, vehicle selection and fitment filtering and the admin panel.
Deployment, technical SEO, a walkthrough of the admin panel for the client's team, and support after launch.
The tools this project stands on, and still runs on today.
